What kind of matcha is used in lattes or blended drinks?

One of the main differences between grades of matcha tea is how they are intended to be used. While the Ceremonial grade is best for consuming in pure tea form, Premium grade matcha is especially blended to be added in matcha latte, iced tea, and other blended drinks. For a smooth delectable taste and perfect flavor profile, we recommend Matcha Moments Premium Grade Matcha  which is the best matcha for drinking in different styles.

1. Matcha Strawberry Latte

We all can agree that strawberries top our list of the most delicious and flavorful fruits. It is hard to imagine a summer without a luscious fresh strawberry latte or smoothie. Apart from their gorgeous color and sweet flavor profile, strawberries are packed with an abundance of vitamin C, antioxidants, and fiber. So, when combined with matcha tea it’s a heavenly combination!

1 teaspoon matcha tea powder (Matcha Moments Premium Grade Matcha)

1/3 cup warm water

Directions:

Add matcha powder into warm water and shake it in a covered jar until mixed.

In a serving glass, add blended or mashed strawberries, vanilla sugar-free syrup (or any sweetener that you like) then fill the rest of the glass with ice cubes for a layered look.

Gently pour milk and matcha tea to maintain the three-colored layer.

Serve, sip, and enjoy!

Tip: You can also use frozen strawberries or mixed berries for this recipe.
