Bamboo whisk, also known as ‘Chasen’ in Japanese, is a tool for preparing a perfectly frothy bowl of traditional matcha green tea. Using a bamboo whisk vigorously in a zig-zag motion breaks any possible clumps and results in a frothy matcha tea.
Our Bamboo whisk is made with 100 prongs and packed in an eco-friendly Kraft tube.
Before using for the first time, let whisk soak in cold water for 2–3 minutes. After each use, prongs can be rinsed off with warm water, patted dry with paper towel and then placed face up to dry in open air.
